Fasig-Tipton Sales, New York Bred Yearlings, Saratoga Springs, NY
Sunday, August 10, 2025 - Monday, August 11, 2025
07:00pm

Held the Sunday and Monday following The Saratoga Sale, the New York Bred Yearlings sale is the industry’s leading source of quality New York-bred yearlings.
Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 304 entries for the New York Bred Yearlings sale, to be held Sunday and Monday, August 10 and 11, in the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion in Saratoga Springs, New York.
The Sunday session will begin at 7 pm, and the Monday session will begin at noon.
“The New York Bred Yearlings sale annually offers the highest concentration of quality New York-breds of any Thoroughbred auction,” said Fasig-Tipton President Browning. “It’s the ‘go-to’ source for those looking to take advantage of the lucrative New York-bred racing program.”

An exciting new development for the New York-bred program is that beginning in 2026, New York-breds will run for equal purse money on the NYRA circuit as open company horses.

“All yearlings offered in this catalogue will compete for the same purse money as open company horses on the NYRA circuit next year, providing buyers even more incentive to participate in this year’s sale,” added Browning. “There has never been a better time to own a New York-bred.”

This year’s catalogue cover features Mo Plex, recent winner of the Ohio Derby (G3) as well as last year’s Sanford S. (G3) at Saratoga. Also pictured are Pandagate, New York-bred Champion Three Year Old Male; and With the Angels, New York-bred Champion Two-Year-Old Filly.
