DESCRIPTION:The 2025 AQHA Convention is heading to Las Vegas, March 28-31 at the South 
 Point Hotel & Casino. The Convention is an opportunity for breeders, traine
 rs, owners and horse enthusiasts to talk about issues affecting the industr
 y and discuss proposed changes regarding rules and policies of the Associat
 ion.<br /><br />There are a couple of items regarding the Convention that y
 ou should know:<br /><br />To have voting rights at the 2025 AQHA Conventio
 n, you must be registered for Convention, attend Convention to vote in pers
 on and be an AQHA member at least 60 days prior to the first day of the 202
 5 Convention.<br />Committee meetings are open to registered Convention att
 endees and are conducted in two sessions – an “open discussion” session in 
 which non-committee members can join in the discussion and a “committee mem
 ber discussion” session in which the discussion is limited to committee mem
 bers only. Occasionally, a meeting moves into a “committee members only” se
 ssion per direction of the committee or chairperson.<br />Per AQHA Bylaws A
 rticle III, Section 1(a), the number of elected directors is determined by 
 an annual allocation formula based on the number of active AQHA numbered an
 d Appendix horses as of September 30 of the preceding year. View the list o
 f each director’s current status – if they are seeking re-election or will 
 be elevating to director emeritus or director-at-large status at the 2025 A
